The Philosopher’s Walk ( Tetsugaku no michi )
There is a great walking spot called philosopher’s Path at the foot of Kyoto · Higashiyama. Sidewalk along the Lake Biwa Canal Separation Line in Sakyo Ward, Kyoto, between Ginkaku-ji and Nanzen-ji. bus: get off Ginkakuji bus stop Many souvenir shops and cafeterias on the road leading to Ginkakuji.
Kiraku Horumon udon
Horumon Kikuya is serving Horuman Udon or Soba in Nishinari Osaka. Horumon is a kind of Japanese cuisine made from beef or pork offal. Kushiya-Kobe is cozy, family owned place serving food sake and beer all day. Their draft beer goes well with Kushikatsu. Reasonably priced menu includes a large variety of choices which can also be customized to your liking by individual items. Located near Kobe City subway Okurayama station.
Mii-dera Chikaramochi was established in 1869. The store is named in honor of Musashibo Benkei, the legendarily strong warrior monk who dragged Mii-dera Temple’s bell to Mt. Hiei. The traditional handmade technique used to make Mii-dera Chikaramochi has been passed down from one generation to the next and has become known for its simple, homemade taste. Chikaramochi uses honey and a green soy bean powder topping on the their fresh mochi.
